Jonas Joshua is HERE!
Saturday May 30th at 11:24 pm Jonas was born weighing 8 lbs 20 inches long. Shortly after posting on my blog last week I started having contractions, which I had been doing off and on for the past few weeks but as they got more intense we headed for the hospital. The doctor came in around 9pm and broke my water Jonas was born shortly after. 
The girls came to see us the next day and they were so excited. Even after a week they still are fighting over who gets to hold him next. The first thing they ask in the morning is if they can hold Jonas. He's not going to get spoiled is he?!! Even though they love him to death they have had a few melt downs, thankgoodness for family that can come get them and give them the attention they are needing too.
We have been doing good at home thanks to so much help from family and friends. Thanks to all of you who have been so kind by bringing food, gifts, babysitting and more babysitting, calling to check on us and just being willing to help if we need anything.
And thanks to a wonderful husband who has helped so much. It was fun to watch him this weekend try to keep all the dishes done. He kept saying, "I just did the dishes and now I'm doing them again!" He has also been great to help the girls adjust by giving them some one on one time too.
We had to get out the baby pictures to be sure but he definetly looks like his sisters did when they were born.

OH BABY
The other day Jamie was talking to the baby (to my tummy) and telling him to "come out, come out!!" and then she added, "I will love you." We are all ready for the baby so we can love him. I have been having a few contractions for a while now but still not baby. Wednesday night I was having alot of contractions and I thought for sure we were going to be going to the hospital. At midnight I got up and packed my hospital bag but now it is still sitting on the floor.
On May 20th Shari graduated from Preschool. It was lot of fun (20 minutes of fun!!) and she was so excited. She called to make sure both grandma's were coming and they did of course. THANKS GRANDMA'S. Mom, Dad, Jamie, Sheila, and Spencer came too! She had the biggest group there, do you think they could tell she is our oldest :-)
It was also a special day because Shari got to graduate on the same day as her best friend Sheila!!
At my last doctor apt. I was dialated to a 3 so he said if I didn't have the baby by Tues. he would start me!! HOORAY. So if not sooner then we will have our baby June 2nd! Shari took these pictures so they are alittle blurry.

Easter fun
We're alittle behind on posting but I wanted to share from Easter picts. anyway.
Shari's favorite holiday is Easter! She even chooses it over Christmas. This year we had two easter egg hunts, one at each of the grandma's houses. The kids had a lot of fun with their cousins.
Jamie loves it when we babysit her cousin Brooke. She will be very helpful when our baby comes, but maybe alittle to helpful. She is constently wanting to hold her, feed her, and make her happy!
They will be good friends one day!
As for the rest of us, Josh is getting really busy at work and is really enjoying it. We are starting to work on our yard and if we could just get a few nice days we could make a little more progress. We are anxious to get the yard done and then offically say we are done working on our house. Then we will take a nice long break from all our projects.

A Month of FUN
We started the month out with a kids birthday party at my mom's house. They had alot of fun playing games and decorating their own cupcakes! That night the adults went to dinner and left the kids with a babysitters! (Thanks Sheila and Joseph)
Then we had a birthday party for me and Josh. Josh got the blue candles I got the pink ones!
Next Shari got to take cupcakes to preschool for her birthday.
And ofcourse her birthday party at our house. She wanted a Tom and Jerry cake AND if you look closely she insisted on putting more candles on the cake then just 5!
I can't believe I have a 5 year old. And such a cute one too!! My mom and I made her this dress for her birthday. (okay mostly my mom made it but I cut it out, that's the part I do best, and she did the sewing, that's the part she does best. We make a good team!)
Last we went snowmobiling in Island Park to finish off the birthday fun! Shari loves to snowmobile. She would have rode all day if she didn't like to swim so much too and had to make time for that also. Josh said she rode about 60 miles with him in two days.
Jamie on the other hand doesn't like the snowmobile she thinks it is to loud! I don't know if you can tell but in the picture she is frowning. Last year she just cried and didn't want to get near the snowmobile. This year after a short ride with dad she decided maybe it wasn't so bad. After her ride she said, "Mom, I didn't cry!"
Later we all went for a ride to Warm Springs to see the big fish!
Even Jamie came!
On the way home they were pretty tired!

KIDS SAY THE CUTEST THINGS!
The other day I was looking through some old photos. I came to a picture of Jamie when she was about a year old. I asked Jamie if she knew who it was and she didn't so I told her it was Jamie. She said, "I don't like that Jamie, I like this Jamie (pointing to herself)!"
I keep a journal of some of the cute things my kids say and I highly recommend it. It is so fun to look back at the things they say. A few weeks ago I told Shari that she got to sleep at Grandma house that night. She was SO excited! She kept hugging me and saying ,"Mom I love you more then you know!"
