Now I don't have a beautiful rose garden, (for that matter I don't even have a yard to take care of and not just because it is winter, we don't have our yard put in yet!) but I have other things that occupy my time and thoughts. So I am going to try to not worry so much about the "wild roses" (dishes, laudry, house cleaning, bills, church callings, potty training - that's a story all by its self) and enjoy the little moments with my kids.
A friend of mine said that instead of picking a bunch of goals for the new year she just picked a theme so "wild roses" is going to be my theme for the year. (thanks Erin!)
Here are some of the little moments we have enjoyed this year, while the roses where growing wild....
Me babysitting my niece Bailey and my brand new niece Brooke. I don't know who is cuter right now me or the baby!
Shari and Jamie decided they wanted to play in their swim suits in JANUARY! Don't worry Jamie has her snow boots on too!
Shari said they needed boubles in the tub so she dumped the rest of the liquid soap out. "IT WORKS," she said
Shari showing off her new pants!Shari and Jamie singing with their cousin Ana
Other exciting news. Our basement is almost 100% finished!! The carpet came this week and now Josh just has to trim around the windows and alittle trim on the floor. We are excited to move the girls toys into their new PURPLE toy room and hopefully have the ping-pong table back up soon. So come by and see anytime. If there are "wild roses" in the sink or on the floor you'll understand why!
